The Wolf Den Cabin is part of a three cabin resort located in the Bitterroot Valley of Montana. The valley is often referred to as the “banana belt” due to its milder weather compared to the rest of the state. All of our comfortable cabins invite you with the beautiful view of the natural area that surrounds us. With heat and air conditioning in all of the cabins, rentals are available any time of year.
Sleeping Arrangement: One bedroom with a queen bed. Futon for extra person.
The Bitterroot Valley is a very unique location to Montana. Discovered in the early explorations of Lewis and Clark, pioneers mined for gold while the western railroad system was being built. The area underwent a huge industrialization period as the copper industry exploded. Much of this history remains throughout the Bitterroot Valley and you can find several historical museums and places to explore.
The Wolf Den is also only a short drive away from Lake Como. This 913-acre lake offers sandy beaches for swimming and relaxing during the summer. A boat launch is also located on the south end of the lake for recreational boaters or vacationers interested in fishing. Trout, Kokanee and Mountain Whitefish are a few of the large variety of species Lake Como offers for anglers.
Corvallis and the Bitterroot Valley offer many fun things to do while staying at The Wolf Den. Hiking, biking and backpacking are great activities for adventurers. The Bitterroots and Sapphire Mountains have beautiful trails with breath taking views as you hike. There are also many local stables that guided horseback trips. If you are looking to spend more time on the water boating, canoeing and kayaking on the Bitterroot River are fun ways to be on the water and explore the channels and canals of the Valley.
In the winter, Lost Trail Powder Mountain become a great downhill slope for skiers and snowboarders. Cross country skiing and snowmobile trails are also a great way to have fun in the snow while experiencing the natural environment the Bitterroot Valley has to offer. Rent or bring your own gear for a fun winter trip to Montana.

Heather & Nate (Longview WA). We had a great experience. Friendly hosts and we appreciate the artistic extras. The cabin was comfy and we really enjoyed our stay. Wolf Den Cabin | stayed in 6/2016
Mat (Missoula). It was a very pleasant experience staying at the Wolf Den for the first time. The hosts are very friendly, the cabin was clean and cozy and being pet friendly is a huge plus as well. Our only regret is that we couldn't spend more time! We hope to be back in the future.
Dave (KOlesar). Great location, This cabin, although small was perfect for two people. What we liked best was the view and how quite it was at night, No road noise or other disturbances. The Owners are extremely friendly and helpful. We hope to go back next year and stay for a month.
Robert & Kiri (Seattle, WA). Wilderness Spirit Cabins were the perfect getaway for our wedding night. Our only regret was we couldn't stay longer. Tracy and Dale were so kind and accommodating. We hope to be back in the future for an anniversary and a longer stay.
Loey & Dave (Bethlehem, PA). Looks like we are the First guests in the Wolf Den. Perfect accommodations.

Because you book directly with me (Tracy), I would be happy to share my local knowledge. I am a professional artist, so my vacation cabins are decorated with original watercolor paintings. Come enjoy the wilderness of Montana and enjoy it in our cabins with the wilderness spirit!
