Hunkapi, as it is called, is a wonderful place to call "home" while you are on vacation!! We are a family of 9 , my husband & I, our 3 sons & our 3 beautiful daughter-in-laws that all have gotten married in this past year (yes, that's right, 3 wedding in the last year) and our beautiful 17 year old daughter who enjoyed a family vacation in Montana. The home is so beautiful and has SO MUCH to offer!! It is VERY clean, kitchen is well stocked, gas grill was great for cooking out, towels are large and soft, beds are SO comfortable, the scenery is breathtaking, the Hot tub felt so good each day after hiking, the wildlife viewing was enjoyable at the start and end of each day. The house is located just off Hwy 89, which leads directly to Yellowstone to the South and downtown Livingston to the North. It also has easy access to I-90, and it is a short drive to Bozeman and the Museum of the Rockies. My family enjoyed fly fishing, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, hiking, the Park, and the Museum, as well as the Farmers' Market, shopping and brew pubs in downtown Livingston. Mo
This being our 3rd time staying in the "Great House on the Hill" there are no way we can really express our enjoyment. The house is just the best place to stay on Livingston. Clean and spacious and a wonderful view of Livingston. Just can't be beat. Thanks Adele and Muke
I knew when I first saw the information about Hunkapi that this would be perfect for our family trip to Yellowstone. There were plenty of bedrooms for everyone to have their own space, and enough bathrooms so that getting ready to hit the trail in the mornings was no problem. The kitchen was well-stocked with cookware and dishes as well as with basic supplies. We loved the views from any room in the house, and we enjoyed watching the deer which frequented the property. One of the best parts of our experience was Adele's care and concern for us. Communication between us was easy and frequent enough so that I knew she wanted to ensure that we would enjoy our stay.
