There are many choices of accommodations around West Glacier. We picked Glacier Mountain Resort because of the unanimously positive reviews, and the place truly lived up to our high expectations. I don’t know how she manages it, but Jo-Anne keeps this whole place in prime condition. As soon as we stepped into the property, we felt easy & at home. The lawn was spacious & lush green even in late Sept. Inside the cabin was all warm & cozy, literally spotless. Even deep in the mountains, wi-fi reception was excellent. One can easily tell from the many details that the owner has put in a lot of time & efforts to make it sweet. Just ~5-10 min from the entrance, it’s very accessible to the West Glacier. A further ~10-15 min drive to Columbia Falls is Super 1 Foods – we got much better bargains for grocery there than from anywhere inside/ around the Park. Also, the gas at Columbia Falls is cheaper than what we paid for in St. Mary (East Glacier). On our way to Columbia Falls, we even spotted a moose by the roadside. Foot Soldier - China
Jo-Ann and Gary have a beautiful place. We were in Cabin 5. It was immaculate and perfect for us. The hummingbirds and other birds singing every morning.
