Up to four guests can sleep in this adorable circular treehouse located in Bozeman, Montana. The spacious open studio with lots of natural light has a comfy, king-size bed and a new memory foam sleeper sofa.
The large private bathroom with all the essentials has a shower, towels, shampoo, and a hair dryer. Linens and towels are provided. You’ll love this one-of-a-kind tree house with a private deck, patio set and grill high up in the trees. Sip your morning coffee on the deck patio built around a tree or cook up dinner outside on the grill. At night, you’ll be able to lounge on the deck and see a universe of stars shining through the trees in Montana’s Big Sky country..
Cardinal Treehouse at Gallatin River Hideaway is located on 88 acres that have been developed into two very unique venues for weddings, receptions, corporate events or other gatherings. we Are an unplugged property as there is no WIFI or TV. (Cell service is great though.) You can fish in the lovely creek that runs feet from the Treehouse or the flowing Gallatin River and come home to relax in this quiet, peaceful cabin in the trees.
The kitchenette has a small refrigerator, microwave, two-burner cooktop, toaster, tea kettle, coffeemaker with pods, dishes, silverware, cook ware etc. The dining room table can seat four with treetop views. There is convenient parking at the treehouse.
Sleeping Arrangements: King bed; new sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress. We are a NO SMOKING NO PETS PROPERTY.

The Gallatin River Hideaway has five cabins on the creek and three real treehouses (all featured in Distinctly Montana) that will make your Montana getaway everything you dreamed it would be! Families or couples traveling together can rent an additional cabin or treehouse if you need more space.
Your treehouse is nestled in scenic remoteness, yet you are very close to downtown, Bozeman Hot Springs, and other activities. We are located near the Gallatin River and it’s tributary creek runs right through our cabin and treehouse area. Just a short drive and you’re at the world famous Bozeman Hot Springs where you can soak in nine different hot spring pools.
Drive a little farther up Gallatin Canyon and you’ll find Big Sky, known for great outdoor activities, fishing and mountain-bike trails. Yellowstone National Park is just 1.5 hours away. Close to home in Bozeman you can explore the Museum of the Rockies - a natural history museum with an extensive collection of dinosaur fossils and planetarium shows. Gorgeous Hyalite Lake is 20 minutes away with easy hikes to Palisade and Grotto Falls and amazing kayaking. Once you are back in your treehouse, you can kick back and enjoy your peaceful surroundings.

Nightly cabin rental available mid May- September. Long-term winter rental available early October-April.
On weekends (& the rare weekday) from mid May through the first weekend in October, we host weddings on the property at our two wedding venues. Our creekside cabins and treehouses are located farther down the road so there is no interference with wedding events.
Fishing is allowed in the creek, but not in the pond or at our wedding venues. There are quiet hours after midnight on weekdays. No pets or smoking allowed. The wedding venues are off limits to non-wedding guests.
This is such an amazing place! We were on vacation and were excited to be able to come home to this unique Treehouse after a long day in Yellowstone. Wonderful, relaxing stay. My husband and I retired from a career in retail upper management after 34 years and landed on the breathtaking pierce of property in western Montana that became Gallatin River Hideaway. As stewards of this magical place, we have the privilege of hosting people on the most important and fun day of their lives.
Toby and I live in one of our treehouses during the winter months. We love our community in Bozeman and are well-acquainted with its restaurants, shops and attractions. We are happy to give personalized recommendations for what to do and see. I am a silversmith (CynthiaOutWest Silversmith) and my studio is on the property. You can purchase one-of-a-kind gifts directly from the studio or at many galleries and retailers around the state.
We love Montana and are grateful to live in one of its most beautiful regions. Along with our guests and neighbors, we love to spend time on the river, kayaking and enjoying the outdoors.
