The Eagle Nest Cabin is one of three cabins in a small resort in Corvallis, Montana. This cabin is the largest of the three and can accommodate the most people. Corvallis is in the heart of the Bitterroot Valley and is often referred to as the “Banana Belt” due to its more mild weather compared to the rest of the state. The cabins are in a very rural area of Corvallis, providing privacy while being close enough to the downtown area and plenty of fun recreational activities.
Sleeping Arrangement: One bedroom with a queen bed and a king bed located in the loft. There is also a futon in the living room that can sleep an additional two for maximum occupancy of six.
The Bitterroot Valley is a unique location in Montana with an interesting history. Early explores settled here during the expedition across the Louisiana Territory in the 19th century. Pioneers mined for gold and were constructing the western railroad system. The area experienced a long period of industrial development as the copper industry exploded. The Bitterroot Valley continues to educate visitors and residents of their history through historical museums and sites.
The Bitterroot Valley is also a great place to visit at any time of year. Temperatures in the area rarely get too hot or too cold. Visiting in the summer is great for hiking, biking, fishing and other outdoor activities. The fall brings hunting season and beautiful fall colors for scenic drives and tours.
Corvallis is a town filled with plenty of restaurants, shops, galleries and entertainment opportunities within a short drive of The Eagle Nest cabin. The Hamilton Golf Course is and 18 hole, par 72 course with beautiful scenery and a challenge at every hole. If you are into the theatre, the Hamilton Performing Arts Center features performances from various music genres, dancers, theatre productions and student and community performances.
Guided pack, hunting and fishing trips on horseback are a part of the true Montana experience. The Bitterroots and Sapphire Mountains have so many beautiful trails to explore at all times of the year. Local stables and professionals can set you up with what you need to explore the area on horseback. The area is also known for its whitewater rafting on the famous “River of No Return”. Local outfitters can ensure you have a fun and safe whitewater adventure. Cross country skiing and snowmobiling too.

Ben and Lisa H. (Montana). We had a wonderful stay at Wilderness Spirit Cabin (Eagles Nest). The cabin was clean, spectacular views, pet friendly, and the hosts were very gracious. I highly recommend Wilderness Spirit Cabins for your stay.
Tim C. My wife and decided to take the 'scenic route' through the Bitterroot Valley and we're so glad we did. The Eagles Nest was a pleasant surprise. One could sit on the porch and simply stare for hours, the view is so beautiful. We hiked the Boldgett Overlook--incomparable photo ops. Our hosts were friendly and helpful; we'd love to return.
Jessica (Monroe, WA). Had a great stay at Wilderness Spirit Cabins over Christmas 2014! Clean, beautiful views, pet friendly and the hosts even thawed out and gave us a few strips of bacon for breakfast since we forgot to bring ours and all the grocery stores were closed! We would definitely stay here again!

Because you book directly with me (Tracy), I would be happy to share my local knowledge. I am a professional artist, so my vacation cabins are decorated with original watercolor paintings. Come enjoy the wilderness of Montana and enjoy it in our cabins with the wilderness spirit!
